it's great that we can remember together
the days that you were mine
and i was yours.
i feel as if those days
are never going to fade
no matter how many nights
years or decades pass.
i know that even though our lives
are at different paths
we will alwys hold true to our promise never to forget.
that is why not a day has passed
without you in my thoughts,
you're constantly on my mind
and then I realize you never left me.
